This connector has an internally threaded barrel sized for (0.195" OD) RG-58 coaxial cable.The fitting simply twists (screws) onto the (properly prepared and trimmed) cable, with the recommendation to solder the center post after installation (depending on which set of instructions you read).
Ancor strongly urges that you waterproof the connection by applying adhesive lined heat shrink tubing to the junction.
Instructions are sometimes included in the factory sealed retail pack.
