TruPlug is used as an emergency plug for holes caused by a hose or thru-hull failure, or hull breach due to impact. Whether its a round hole caused by mechanical failure, or an elongated tear due to impact, TruPlug's shape adapts to the leak.
The plug is made of a solid, spongy, proprietary foam that is coated with a flexible sealer. Unlike old-fashioned wooden plugs, TruPlug's soft cone shape can be compressed by hand and then allowed to expand to fit a wide variety of hole shapes. It can also be forced into hard-to-reach locations where wooden plugs won't fit. Keep several in your damage control kit.

Suitable for hole up to 4" in diameter
Can be cut with a razor knife and forced into elongated openings using a putty knife or similar tool
Perfect for emergency or temporary maintenance such as changing a thru-hull hose, etc.
