These Polar Star 40 series bulbs are specially designed as direct LED replacement bulbs for Aqua Signal Tri-Color navigation lights.
Since tri-color lights are mounted at the top of the mast, the super long life and lack of a filament to burn out are particularly significant features of these LED bulbs.
Installing a Polar Star 40 Tri-Color LED bulb can mean an end to trips up the mast to replace the bulb in your tri-color nav light.
